I’ve had the privilege to visit quite a number of African countries; from when I was younger, to those I have visited as a diplomat. I remember where those countries were in those pre-independence years - as far back as the seventies, and where they are today. I must congratulate our African leaders, and pay homage to our forefathers for their efforts.
